THE FINDIE RELEASE PROCESS

Human checked.
Partner delivered.

Findie is your release-preparation and distribution-operations workspace. Every submitted package is reviewed by a person before it is entered into the distribution partner’s portal.

01

Artist submission

You upload final masters and artwork, complete credits and rights declarations, choose territories and stores, and submit the finished package.

02

Findie quality control

Findie checks the release for missing or inconsistent information. A specific note is returned when something needs correction.

03

DistroDirect handoff

After approval, a Findie operator exports the verified metadata and securely enters the release and files in DistroDirect. The real partner reference is recorded in Findie.

04

Status follow-up

Findie updates the artist workspace as the partner and stores process the release. Store timing and acceptance remain subject to each service.

STATUS GUIDE

What artists see.

The workspace uses real operational statuses. It does not invent delivery, royalty, or analytics data.

Draft
You can still edit the release and its files.
In review
Findie is checking metadata, rights declarations, artwork, audio, and delivery choices.
Needs changes
The artist must follow the note, correct the release, and submit it again.
Approved
Quality control is complete and the package is being prepared for partner entry.
Sent to stores
Findie recorded a real partner reference and handed the release to DistroDirect.
Live
Findie confirmed the partner handoff as live and recorded the final status.
IMPORTANT

No unofficial partner automation.

Findie currently performs the DistroDirect handoff through its authorized portal because an official integration API has not been provided. Findie does not scrape private endpoints or claim real-time synchronization. Artists should rely on the status and notes recorded by the Findie operations team.
